Each week we need to draw 12 thumbs and a final of a landscape, first week was the canal, second week an archway located on campus. I'm a bit behind on uploading them as I've just finished week 3's final but I'll get around to it!
The archway was different from the canal to draw because it's pretty much all man-made. The canal being surrounded by trees meant you could skip over details because who is going to notice if a tree is out of place or a bush is missing? However the archway being very confined and with few trees meant I couldn't gloss over the details.

Life drawing was mixed up a bit too last week, with no model we had volunteers from the class to pose for us. So we got a good variation of people to draw and got practice with how clothes sit on people. This weeks life drawing was swapped for a rainy trip to Bradgate Park, i will upload the final from there when I can.

Lastly my wheelie bin. 1 model redo and a lot of time spent texturing I had put a few hours into it. I knew I had spent a bit too much time on it when I began arguing the finer details of wheelie bins to my flat mates... however i think it was all time well spent and I am happy with the end result. Practicing the whole texturing process is a must for me though.
